Dear backers,

Here's a little update on the whole shipping process! Please read the whole update to get a full understanding of our shipping process and where we are at!

So far, we've shipped products to +2500 of the 3400 backers who have answered the survey. To deliver to as many customers as fast as possible, we decided that we would start with all the backers who chose 1 pack of SOLOSOCKS, then backers who chose 2 packs, and thereafter we shipped the rewards to those who chose 3 packs and so on! 

This does not mean that you will necessarily get your pack this week. We're already getting a lot of emails from people who are already asking us about tracking numbers and shipping status. We ask you to be patient! We started preparing the shipment 30 days after we finished the campaign, and are still working on fulfilment. We kindly ask you to wait at least until the middle of July before asking us (by then, you should all have your products). The reason for this is that we ship from Europe, and we've known shipping times to be very long in certain countries/continents. 


Recently answered the survey?

If you just recently answered the survey, you did not make it to the first "shipping round". We have shipping days where we pack all day and ship, because the postal service will come and pick it up. If you did NOT answer the survey before Monday the 4th of June, you will experience longer waiting time. We tried to communicate this as clearly as possible. We're still receiving survey completions every day. If you answered it within the last 3 weeks, we ask you be a little patient!

We use Deutsche Post which works with local shipping partners in all countries. For example, in the US we use USPS, in Japan we use Japan Post and in Sweden we use Post Nord. Because of this, shipping can of course vary. Please read the information below:

Shipping to EU

Once we ship your products, they usually arrive within 10 days in the EU depending on where you live. Remember that you must have answered the survey before Monday the 4th to be in this shipping round. 

Shipping to Asia

Once we ship your products, they usually arrive within 20 days in the Asia depending on where you live. Remember that you must have answered the survey before Monday the 4th to be in this shipping round.

Shipping to North America

Once we ship your products, they usually arrive within 15 days in North America depending on where you live. Remember that you must have answered the survey before Monday the 4th to be in this shipping round.

Shipping to other continents

Once we ship your products, they usually arrive within 10-20 days in other countries depending on where you live. We ship worldwide and use a range of different partners. Remember that you must have answered the survey before Monday the 4th to be in this shipping round.


New address?

We've locked down all adresses and have printed the labels. Unless you haven't filled out the survey, it's too late to change the address. If possible, arrange for someone to pick it up or contact your local shipping company to ask if you can change it. 

Got the wrong styles/size?

When shipping more than 8000 packs of SOLOSOCKS, it sometimes happens that you make mistakes. If you receive the wrong style or size, it's important that you contact us right away so we can resolve the issue. We recommend that you send us an email to [email protected]

Lifetime discount

You will all received a letter with a lifetime discount for our new webshop www.solosocks.co. The permanent lifetime discount code is 'kickstarter18'. This coupon can be applied during the checkout process on our webshop.

Shipping your SOLOSOCKS!

Dear backer,

Today we are preparing the first shipment of your orders! Since we're sending packs to almost 4000 backers, it's a process that we expect to take a while. We're hoping to be done by Friday next week but we will of course keep you posted in the process!  We've gathered a small team of dedicated people who will help us get it done as soon as possible.

If we've locked down your order, it's too late to make changes. The labels have been printed and we started packing your order. Please allow at least 3 weeks before contacting us regarding the tracking number. Based on our experience from our last 2 campaigns, it can take some time for some countries. We're shipping from Germany, so North America and Asia can experience longer shipping times. Europe will experience faster shipping times.

New webshop

We just launched our brand new webshop where the no-shows are available for pre-order! We encourage you all just to take a look, and let us know what you think! We'd love some feedback from all of you. We're working on the UK version, the Danish version, the Swedish version, the German version and the Dutch version. Which languages/countries should we include?

Introducing "Duos"

You asked for SOLOSOCKS in pairs.... well here they are! Some of you guys kept mentioning that you want smaller packs of SOLOSOCKS. We asked if you wanted packs of 6,5,4,3 or 2. You chose 2! A lot of you guys mentioned that you wanted SOLOSOCKS in "pairs". Even though our motto has always been "No Pairs - Just Solos", we decided to give you guys what you want! They are available on our new site as well. Please let us know what you think about this concept.

700 socks donated to refugees!

Dear backer,

Today we had the awesome opportunity to donate 700 SOLOSOCKS to the refugee children at Danish Red Cross Center Sandholm! Sandholm is a public institution for asylum seekers in Denmark. It is located in Sandholm, Birkerød, Allerød Kommune.  It is a former military barracks, and the largest reception center for asylum seekers in Denmark. The center's daily operations are run by the Danish Red Cross and it also serves as both a receiving and departure center, for newly arrived asylum seekers, and asylum seekers who have been rejected.

It was a truly amazing experience, and we're just so excited to be able to give to the children who are most in need! The Red Cross were really excited to receive the socks and said that the kids would be happy, since socks are the least donated item. We're definitely doing this again.

It's time to choose your SOLOSOCKS! YAY!

We have sent you an email  with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.

You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!

After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.

If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page here.
